So you think all kids are going to Hell in a Handbasket?  Well not these guys.

The only place they're going is up and they are getting there clean and sober

Blackout was started in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA in the Spring of 2005. It was all set in motion a year before, when Chris saw the movie "School of Rock" This movie inspired him to pick up the guitar. At their second show there was a power outage and the name "Blackout" was born.

Since then many things have happened in the band; Chris decided to broaden his horizons and continue playing all of his music with new musicians and friends Dakota Floeter and George Brooks.

The Band now rocks harder than ever with great musicians ready to embrace the future of Rock and Roll. They have played numerous venues in Southern California including the House of Blues, the Knitting Factory,the Key Club and the Whisky A Go-Go. They have also impressed audiences of all ages on tours to San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, Vancouver Canada and even 10 shows in England. Their latest CD is their first full length produced by the multi-platinum John Ryan. It demonstrates their uncanny ability to write technical and intelligent songs that speak to both the young and the young at heart. Blackout 101 is not a boy band of trained dancers who sing words put in their mouths by others. They are the real deal. Prolific writers, the boys are constantly expanding their reportoire and consistently honing their craft as the legitimate voice of this and the next generation.
